Google Plus For iPhone Add’s Instant Upload
Google has released a new version of the Google+ iOS app , which now includes one of its best features “Instant Upload”. This feature which was only previously only available to Android owners allows users to upload every picture and video taken automatically to a private folder on their Google + account. After you install the new update and log in, you will be asked whether you want to enable Instant Upload, either via Wifi only, or via 3G when available. If you are on limited data plan then id recommend that you set this to Wifi only.
Your photos will then be automatically uploaded as long as you have the Google+ app running in the background, if not the pictures that you have taken will then be uploaded in the next time you open the app. To share the photos with you circles all you have to do is go on the “Photos from your phone” tab under Photos in Google+ on the Web, and just share with your circles.
Google + does have a 1GB limit for photos and videos which have been uploaded using the feature. However, if you shoot photos at resolutions which are lower than 2048 x 2048 pixels and videos which are under 15 minutes, your “Photos From Phone Album” is pretty much unlimited.
The update also brings a few other new features including the “What’s Hot” stream which was rolled out to the Google+ web interface a few months ago. Users are also given the ability to shake the iPhone to send feedback to Google.
