How to Manage & Upload to Instagram from the Web
Over the past few years we have seen Instagram quickly become one of most popular social networks and following its acquisition by Facebook, it continues to grow at a rapid rate.
With over 200 million users, it comes as no surprise that many of the world’s biggest brands have begun to add Instagram to their social media strategy. This provides them with one of the most popular platforms to visually communicate and engage with their target audience.
However, it does come with challenges, especially for brands or digital agencies who manage multiple accounts on a daily basis. As the focus has been very much about the consumer since its launch businesses haven’t been given the features and functionality that the desperately hope for….
In this post we will look at a new third party app that I have recently discovered which makes managing your businesses Instagram presence so much easier. The tool is called Schedugram and has been designed with social media managers in mind who are looking for an easier way to manage the Instagram accounts for their clients.
Users have the ability to finally upload their images from the web, this is done by uploading your images to the Schedugram account backend so that they can be posted to your account. You also have the option to edit your images once they have been uploaded, this included adding filters, text and rotating images before you make the images live on your account.
Schedule Your Posts
Now that you have uploaded your images and made the edits you require, you can choose to either post them immediately to your accounts or you can schedule them to go out at anytime you wish. This enables you to engage with your Instagram audience even when you’re not online and can be very beneficial if your business has fans across the in different time zones.
Manage Multiple Accounts
One of the most requested features that I have seen people ask for since the launch of Instagram in 2010 is the ability to manage multiple accounts within the app. This is something that we are still waiting for and we could be waiting for a while. However, using the Schedugram interface you can now manage multiple accounts which can come in very useful for agencies or social media managers with multiple accounts to manage.
Multi User Login
Another great feature is the multiple user login. This is especially great if you work at an agency and there is a team of people managing the social media activity for a client. Users can login to the account and upload images, schedule posts and also see what others have scheduled to go out to the various accounts that are managed through the Schedugram web interface.
If you don’t feel the need to edit your posts before you publish them, you can use the built in image bulk upload tools that allows you to batch upload your images, set captions and then schedule them to go out on whichever date you choose.
