The History Of Social Networking

When most of us think about social networks these days we automatically think of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. When we take a look back at the history of social networking we look at the obvious players which we have seen come and go over the years including My Space, Friendster and even Bebo, which was the most dominant social network in the UK and Ireland before Facebook came along, but this isn’t where it all began. This infographic which was put together by Citizen Brando takes us a journey through the history of social networking and goes as far back as the 1970’s when we seen the first bulletin boards being used online.
